ODYKIRK, Barry William - Age 62 of Holly died Saturday, January 12, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 21, 2007 at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly with Pastor Ed Pedley officiating. Visitation will be from .2-9 P.M. Sunday. Military honors and Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date.
Mr. Odykirk was born in Flint on December 10, 1945 the son of Robert and Lucille (Bierie) Odykirk. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Marine Corps and was retired from the US Army Reserves. He was a journeyman pipe fitter, retiring from Pipe Fitters Local #370 of Flint. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holly, the DAV, the VFW, and the NCO Association.
He is survived by his wife Jackuline; 2 daughters Jeanne' (Tom) Cairns of Fenton and Rhonda Barnhart of FL; 4 grandchildren, Crystal, Tiffany, Nastassja, and Cameron; 5 sisters Jacqueline Moore of Swartz Creek, Sandra Cruse of OK, Roberta (David Kowalski) Proffer of Swartz Creek, Elizabeth Rose of Swartz Creek, and Nancy Lince of Traverse City; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Holly.
